241 News
The 30th June saw the second golf competition run by the 241Club, As Per normal the weather was foul and we all got a soaking ( Hence no Photos) but a pleasant harmony was held in the lodge afterwards. The event was won by Colin Blair from Carrbridge (see Results) The winning ticket for the Grand draw was drawn by a visitor to the golf and he picked out the ticket of P.M. Roddy Stevens. There was also a raffle which went down well and we raised around £108.00 for Charity. The Lodges thanks are extended to all who attended, donated food or raffle prizes and generally helped out. Special thanks go to Bro Geoff Smith for all his organisation.

A Night out at the New Ptarmigan Restaurant
On the 29th June 2002, 34 Lodge members, wives and guests enjoyed a night out up Cairngorm. Which included a run up the hill on the Funicular Railway to get to the new Restaurant. The meal was top quality and the Bar prices very reasonable, I'm sure many of us will be recommending or visiting this venue again.

This years Dinner Dance was very successful with everybody enjoying the evening out. We even made a modest profit and hopefully we will enjoy continued success next year. Our thanks go to all involved in the organization of this event.
